Friday afternoon was the scene of a horrible crash on Highway 74 in Lake Elsinore, California that saw three women killed.
As of Sunday morning the Riverside County Coroner released the names of the victims. They are: Janee Briscoe, 31 and Claudia Goldstein, 51 of Temecula and Tatiana Rocha, 47 of Riverside.
The deaths were the result of a two car crash that saw all three women killed at the scene of the accident. As of now, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) has not released any information about what led to the incident, but footage from the crash showing damage to the fronts of both cars indicates that it was likely a head-on collision.
Eye witnesses reported that one of the cars burst into flames immediately after the crash. The Riverside County Fire Department extinguished the flames and removed the victims from the vehicles.
CHP’s investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information on the crash are encouraged to contact the Lake Elsinore Police Department.
