Two people have been killed in a crash on Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach, according to a news report.
Laguna Beach police said that the driver of a Tesla traveling north on Laguna Canyon Road veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a Honda Accord, killing Armando Garcia-Gonzalez, 38, of Santa Ana, and Alberto Casique-Salinas, 47, of Anaheim. The fatal accident occurred between the 73 Toll Road and El Toro Road.
The Tesla driver was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo with minor injuries. An investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
