Two people — a man and a woman — have been killed in a two-car accident in Westminster, according to a news report.
Westminster police said that the collision occurred on Beach Boulevard at Madison Avenue when a Toyota Solara convertible traveling north on Beach Boulevard crashed into a Toyota Avalon turning left onto Madison Avenue. The Avalon then crashed into the front of the Boulevard Florist shop.
A man who was a passenger in the Avalon was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Khoa Truong, 59. The female driver — Kimmy Hua, 79, of Garden Grove — was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
The female driver of the Solara, identified only as a woman in her 50s, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the hospital. No one inside the shop was injured.
