A 79-year-old woman has been seriously injured in a Fountain Valley pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
Fountain Valley police said that the woman was crossing Magnolia Street near La Paloma Avenue when she was hit by a Hyundai Genesis that was traveling south on Magnolia. She was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange in serious condition with head trauma.
The driver — identified only as a man in his 40s — stayed at the scene to talk with police. He was not cited or arrested, and the investigation into the pedestrian accident is ongoing.
