A 55-year-old woman has been hospitalized with traumatic head injuries after she was involved in an Anaheim pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
Anaheim police said that the unidentified woman was crossing South Brookhurst Street near Orange Avenue when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla. Her head struck the windshield of the car and she sustained serious head injuries. She was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange for treatment.
The driver — a 68-year-old man — told police he was driving at 35 mph north on South Brookhurst Street when he hit the victim.
