A 71-year-old woman has been seriously injured after she collided with two other vehicles in Fullerton, according to a news report.
Fullerton police said that a preliminary investigation revealed that the woman was driving her Dodge Charger east on Commonwealth when she suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a Toyota Camry and a pickup truck. The unidentified woman was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries; the 39-year-old driver of the Toyota Camry was also taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
Proving who was at fault in a California car crash is largely a matter of determining who was negligent. In many cases, the answer will be apparent – but in some instances, you and your Orange County personal injury attorney will need to prove fault in order to collect just compensation.
Proving fault is easier if you can provide official support for your claim. This can be in the form of a police report or if a driver violated one of California’s traffic laws and that violation led to the accident. There are also certain types of accidents that leave little room for doubt as to who was at fault.
