A woman in her early 30s was seriously injured after she was hit by an SUV on Rosecrans Avenue in Fullerton, according to a news report.
Fullerton police said that the unidentified woman was crossing Rosecrans at Emery Ranch Road when she was struck by an SUV. She was taken to UCI Medical Center in critical condition with severe head trauma.
Officials investigating the accident did not say whether or not the pedestrian was crossing in a marked crosswalk; the driver stayed at the scene to talk with police. Investigators said they did not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the pedestrian accident.
