A woman has been seriously injured in a head-on collision involving two SUVs in Garden Grove, according to a news report.
Garden Grove police said that the collision occurred in the 11000 block of Dale Street just south of Katella Avenue when a man driving a Toyota 4Runner collided head-on with a woman driving a Ford Expedition. She was taken to Western Medical Center in Anaheim with a broken left forearm, dislocated hip and multiple abrasions.
The Toyota 4Runner driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He incurred injuries to his face when the SUV’s airbag deployed and was also taken to Western Medical Center for treatment.
