Yoko Beers, 86, who was critically injured in an August 8th car crash in Fountain Valley, has sadly died of her injuries.
Fountain Valley police officials responded to the collision at around 4 p.m.. While the street name of where the accident took place have not been revealed, we do know that it involved an SUV and a pickup truck.
The police have not released many details surrounding the traffic fatality other than the fact that it remains under close investigation and that several involved parties suffered injuries ranging from moderate to life-threatening.
According to reports, a passenger in the SUV, identified as Yoko Beers, a resident of Santa Ana, suffered major injuries and was subsequently rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center. She remained hospitalized in the trauma center for several days until sadly succumbing to her injuries on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, at least two other motorists involved reported injuries and were taken away by ambulance from the scene to nearby hospitals.
