Seven people have been injured in a three-vehicle crash in Yorba Linda after one of the vehicles ran a red light, according to a news report.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department said that a Honda, a Nissan Infiniti and a Jeep SUV were involved in the collision at Casa Loma Avenue and Yorba Linda Boulevard. Rescuers had to use the “Jaws of Life” to free the four people in the Honda from the wreckage; all four were taken to area hospitals for treatment of moderate injuries.
A woman in her 40s and her son, 15, were found in the Nissan Infiniti, which had overturned. They were taken to Placentia-Linda Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Jeep SUV — a woman in her 20s — was taken to UCI Medical Center.
