The Irvine Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team are looking into a two-vehicle crash in Irvine on Sunday, September 23 that left a woman dead and her husband and child injured.
The woman, Vaishali Bohara (33), and her husband and child were in a Mercedes-Benz SUV which rolled over at the scene near the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Jamboree Road. The Orange County Fire Authority reported that at least one person had to be extracted from one of the wrecked vehicles.
All of the family members in the rolled SUV were rushed to hospital where Bohara was later pronounced dead. Bohara’s husband and child are reported to be in moderate condition.
Nobody in the other vehicle was seriously injured. The occupants included a woman and two children.
