An unidentified motorcyclist was critically injured after colliding with a car in Newport Beach, according to a news report.
The Newport Beach Police Department said that the motorcyclist was traveling east on West Coast Highway when he collided with a car that was pulling out of a driveway in the 1200 block of Pacific Coast Highway. The cyclist was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center as a trauma patient.
The driver of the car was not injured and no one has been cited yet in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
