One person is dead and dozens of others were injured after a tour bus heading towards the Grand Canyon crashed and overturned on the afternoon of Friday, January 22.
Police report that the bus rolled over on its side while driving along Diamond Bar Road in Northwestern Arizona at around 12:21 p.m. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found one person had tragically died in the bus accident.
Two other people were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, seven others were rushed to Kingman Regional Medical Center with serious injuries and another 33 were hospitalized with minor injuries.
A total of 48 people were on board when the bus crashed.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
