Officials have reported that a 26-year-old woman died in a motorcycle crash on the 405 Freeway in Irvine on Wednesday, May 1.
The woman, who is yet to be identified, was reportedly travelling in northbound lanes on the 405 just south of the turn off to the 133, at about 6:15 p.m. when the crash occurred. According to the Orange County Fire Authority the woman died at the scene of the collision.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The crash prompted a temporary SigAlert in the two left lanes of the northbound 405 that began at 6:24 p.m.
