A male driver was killed during a four-vehicle pileup Saturday morning in Laguna Hills, and another person suffered moderate injuries.
The fatal car crash occurred at about 9 a.m. at Oso Parkway and Cabot Road. The driver of one of the vehicles was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics rushed another person to a hospital with moderate injuries.
According to police, the deadly car crash occurred when two vehicles hit each other, sending one careening into the two other vehicles, Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Carrie Braun said.
It’s not clear yet how the first two vehicles hit each other. Detectives didn’t know yet what direction either vehicle was driving in at the time of the crash.
The driver who died has not been identified yet. The second driver, also a man, was taken to a trauma center with moderate injuries.
