A 75-year-old man remained hospitalized Tuesday morning, Aug. 30, after he was hit by a car on Imperial Highway in Brea over the weekend.
According to police, the unidentified pedestrian was between Associated Road and the 57 Freeway when he was hit at approximately 11:35 p.m. Sunday night, Aug. 28.
A passerby saw the pedestrian accident and called the police who later reported that the man suffered significant injuries from the crash.
The car, believed to be an older, light-colored Lexus sedan, continued onto the northbound 57 Freeway following the collision and is believed to have front-end and windshield damage, police said. The car, and its driver, had not yet been found.
