A female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Beach Boulevard in Westminster on Sunday, Feb. 9.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal crash happened at about 7 p.m.. A vehicle traveling north along Beach Boulevard tragically collided with the woman who was walking across the street, just north of McFadden Avenue.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene of the crash.
Police report that the driver involved in the deadly pedestrian accident waited for authorities to arrive and was cooperative with no overt signs of drugs or alcohol being a factor in the crash.
