A 52-year-old man was tragically killed after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Huntington Beach Thursday night, January 20.
According to police, the fatal bicycle crash occurred at approximately11:20 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) north of Seapoint Street.
First responders arrived to discover the bicyclist had been killed. The victim had been struck by a Lexus ES 350 sedan, which was traveling northbound.
A husband and wife inside the Lexus each sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment. Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the collision and the couple cooperated with the investigation.
