Bicyclist Jason Navoy, 45, was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle on the evening of Dec. 21 in Jurupa Valley.
The fatal bicycle crash occurred near the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Tyrolite Street. Emergency personnel responding to the incident found a small sedan and Navoy at the crash site.
Navoy had suffered major injuries and succumbed to his injuries at the scene despite lifesaving measures. Officials said a preliminary investigation determined that both Navoy and the sedan were traveling east on Mission toward Tyrolite when the sedan collided with the Navoy.
The driver of the sedan remained uninjured in the incident and stayed at the scene to talk to police. Anyone with information about this fatal bicycle accident is asked to call Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies at 951-955-2600.
