A 10-year-old Anaheim boy was killed and his parents and siblings injured in a three-vehicle accident in Anaheim, according to a news report.

Anaheim police said that the fatal accident occurred at Euclid Avenue near La Palma.  Rafael Isaiah Ramirez was sitting in the back seat of his family’s Toyota Camry with his two siblings when their car, which was stopped at a red light, was rear-ended by a suspected drunk driver in a pickup truck.

The boy known as Isaiah, his two siblings and his parents were taken to Anaheim Regional Medical Center; Isaiah died from his injuries at the hospital.  The four other family members were hospitalized in serious condition but are expected to survive.

The impact of the initial crash sent the vehicles into a third car; the driver and a female passenger in that car sustained minor injuries.

Police said that the pickup driver, Gary Stephen Hunt, 41, of Orange, was arrested and charged with gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
