A multi-vehicle crash early Monday, December 1, on the 5 Freeway in Buena Park resulting in the tragic death of one person.
According to police, the fatal car crash was reported at 12:51 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway just north of the 91 Freeway.
One of the first arriving officers reported one person was trapped inside a vehicle and another was down on the right shoulder of the roadway. A dispatcher confirmed to City News Service that there was one fatality from the crash.
It was reported that the cars involved in the fatal car accident were a Bentley, what appeared to be a Toyota Prius and a compact sedan; with the fatality occurring in the Prius. At least one person was taken for medical treatment following the crash.
