C&B Article: Waiver of the Psychotherapist-Patient Privilege

Callahan & Blaine senior personal injury attorney D. Bryan Garcia recently penned a feature article in the Summer 2015 issue of The Gavel, the official publication of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.

Entitled Waiver of the Psychotherapist-Patient Privilege, this article delves into how to prevent a defendant from hiding behind the psychotherapist-patient privilege in order to avoid liability in a personal injury suit.

Mr. Garcia has authored numerous articles to further the interests of consumers. Mr. Garcia has previously served on the board of the State Bar’s Law Practice Management & Technology section and served as the elected Los Angeles representative of the State Bar, California Young Lawyers Association.
