A 21-year-old Lake Forest woman has been killed while riding in a vehicle driven by a suspected drunk driver, according to a news report.
Garden Grove police said that Ariel Johnson was killed when the car she was riding in left the road and struck a pole at 13312 Brookhurst St. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Shauna Ahyen, 21, of Fountain Valley, and another female passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said that Ahyen is suspected of driving drunk and has been charged with DUI and suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
