A woman was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking in a parking lot of the Seal Beach United States Postal Office.
The woman’s identity has not yet been released by police as of this report.
According to police reports, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 11:15 a.m., when the Seal Beach Police Department received a call of a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the post office’s parking lot located at the 2000 block of Westminster Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene of the fatal accident, officers discovered that a vehicle collided with a woman who had been walking in the parking area.
Orange County Fire Authority personnel responded but were unable to save the woman who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
