The intersection of La Paz Road and Olympiad Road in Mission Viejo was the scene of a tragic multi-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon that sent three to hospital and left one man dead.
Emergency personnel that responded to the scene worked to free an injured driver from their vehicle
Prior to the four-vehicle fatal crash, at approximately 1:45 p.m., several 911 calls were received saying that a man in his 50’s was causing a disturbance in the area of the 27000 block of La Paz road. The man being referenced in the calls ended up being the person fatally injured in the crash.
