Fifty-nine-year-old Julie Varley was tragically killed in a suspected DUI car crash in Garden Grove on Wednesday, April 15.
Police report that 27-year-old Kyle Morey of Fountain Valley, rear-ended Ms. Varley’s vehicle at a red light on Chapman Avenue at Euclid Street which resulted in her car being slammed into the vehicle in front of her at the light.
Ms. Varley was rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where she was sadly pronounced dead.
Morey, who was hospitalized Thursday and underwent surgery, is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs and causing the fatal car accident that killed Varley.
