A 12-year-old girl has been hospitalized with multiple fractures as the victim of an Orange pedestrian accident.
According to the Orange Police Department, the girl was walking to school when she was hit by a Dodge pickup truck on Cambridge Street at Collins Avenue. The driver of the pickup fled the scene, but later turned herself in to police. She has only been identified as a 39-year-old woman.
The girl was hospitalized with multiple fracture injuries and is in stable condition. Her name has not been released; the investigation is ongoing.
