In a heartbreaking incident, a 46-year-old man from Huntington Beach met a tragic end after being struck by an SUV on a busy street within the city. This devastating accident occurred on Beach Boulevard, just north of Speer Drive, a short distance south of Slater Avenue, around 10 p.m. on a Sunday evening. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries, as confirmed by Cuchilla.
The fatal collision involved a 2003 Lincoln Navigator traveling southbound in lane 4 of Beach Boulevard. The driver of the SUV, a 33-year-old woman from Huntington Beach, remained at the scene and cooperated fully with the investigating officers.
