Joan McKee, was tragically killed Saturday, April 17 after the vehicle she was in was hit from behind by Adrian Antonio who was arrested on suspicion of homicide and DUI.
According to police, McKee (71) from Huntington Beach, died at the scene of the car accident.
At around 5:50 p.m. police received reports of a Ford Windstar driving erratically in eastbound lanes in the area of Main Street and Lincoln Avenue. Less than three minutes later, it slammed into the back of a Chrysler Voyager, of which McKee was an occupant, initiating a chain-reaction crash involving six vehicles.
Meanwhile, a man and woman sitting in the front of the Chrysler were ejected from the minivan as it spun out. Paramedics took the man to a hospital with serious injuries.
The fatal DUI car accident is currently under investigation.
