Two teenage brothers, Joshua Page and Jeremy Page, died in the hospital following a tragic crash with a city vehicle in Huntington Beach on Monday morning, March 7.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Newland Street and Yorktown Avenue. According to police, the crash involved a white Ford F-250 pickup and a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup. The two male teenage occupants of the Ford were taken to a hospital while the city worker in the Chevrolet was uninjured.
Joshua Page, 18, of Westminster, died soon after arriving at the hospital on Monday, while his brother Jeremy Page, 17, died in the hospital later that day.
The Irvine Police Department are investigating the crash because it involved an employee of the city of Huntington Beach.
Police stated that neither drugs or alcohol appeared to be a factor in the fatal truck crash.
