Meghan Wautlet of Huntington Beach tragically died, and a man hospitalized, after the motorcycle they were on collided with a car on the Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach on September 11.
According to police, witnesses described the motorcycle as being driven erratically, speeding and popping wheelies while travelling south on the PCH. The motorcycle slammed into a vehicle that was heading north on Pacific Coast Highway and making a U-turn just south of Warner Avenue at about 8:17 p.m.
Wautlet, 22, of Huntington Beach, tragically died at the scene, while the male driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
While no charges have been made, the fatal motorcycle accident is currently under investigation.
