Los Angeles, CA (April 17, 2024) – In a tragic turn of events late Tuesday night, a serious car accident claimed the life of a 25-year-old man. The fatal two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of West Florence Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard in Hyde Park, Los Angeles, at around 11:15 p.m.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash involved a black BMW SUV and a gray sedan. Reports indicate the BMW was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when it ran a red light, resulting in a violent impact with the sedan. The force of the collision was such that the sedan was hurled approximately 70 feet from the point of impact.
The young man driving the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders who arrived promptly to administer aid.
