Los Angeles, CA (March 24, 2024) – A tragic incident occurred early Saturday morning when a 35-year-old man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident in the Westlake District of Los Angeles. The collision took place at approximately 12:54 a.m. at the intersection of 8th St and Alvarado St. Los Angeles Police Department officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal event.
The man, who reportedly did not have a permanent residence, was within a marked crosswalk at the time he was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound. He succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
