CASTAIC, Calif. (April 22, 2024) – A severe collision involving multiple vehicles disrupted traffic on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway in Castaic, north of Lake Hughes Road. The incident, which took place in the fast lane at approximately 12:48 p.m., resulted in major injuries for at least one individual.
The California Highway Patrol has reported that the accident involved a silver Hyundai Sonata, a white Toyota Camry, and a white BMW sedan.
