In the early hours of Sunday, the Santa Ana Police Department responded to a fatal single-vehicle accident. The incident occurred in the 800 block of South Main Street in Santa Ana, California. At approximately 2:08 a.m., authorities received multiple calls about a collision involving a truck that had veered off the road and struck a tree before coming to rest against a pole.
The arriving officers from the Santa Ana Police Department, along with the Orange County Fire Authority, found that the vehicle contained three occupants. These included the driver, a male passenger seated in the rear, and a female passenger in the front seat. The Fire Authority extricated the driver and the front-seat passenger from the wreckage.
All three individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the female passenger succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Both male occupants survived and were reported to be in stable condition.
