At least one person died Saturday after a car crashed on the right shoulder of the 55 Freeway in Tustin.
According to police, the fatal car accident was reported at 10:08 a.m. on the northbound Costa Mesa Freeway at Fourth Street.
A Caltrans employee assisted at the scene and told the CHP that the crash involved a white Hyundai sedan with “three occupants down.”
One witness reported someone was inside the trunk of the vehicle.
