Robin Kropp of Lake Forest was tragically killed when a big rig struck her as she was walking across a street in Temecula on Saturday.
First responders arrived to find Kropp (54) had been killed at the intersection of Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester roads at around 4 p.m.
She was hit and run over as she stepped from the sidewalk in the northeast corner of the intersection into the crosswalk headed west across Winchester.
The driver of the big rig that hit her was making a right-hand turn from the westbound side of Murrieta Hot Springs onto Winchester.
Police are investigating the fatal big rig crash. The driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the police.
