A pedestrian was tragically struck and killed by a blue vehicle in Fullerton on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 23.
Police reported that they are currently looking for the driver that was involved in the fatal pedestrian accident.
According to police, the still-to-be-identified pedestrian was crossing Bastanchury Road, west of Brea Boulevard when struck by a vehicle traveling westbound.
Officers were called about 6:45 a.m. and found the pedestrian on the raised center median near a Carl’s Jr. restaurant. Police also found part of a blue bumper in the roadway near the scene of the tragic hit-and-run accident.
Further information about the pedestrian was not immediately available. Police did not yet know what type of vehicle hit the pedestrian.
Police were looking for possible witnesses to the crash, and anyone with information was asked to call them at 714-738-6812.
