At the intersection of Imperial Highway and Kraemer Blvd. in Brea on Sunday shortly before 3 a.m. a woman in a Toyota Corolla southbound on Kraemer may have run a red light and hit a Ford Fusion driving eastbound on Imperial Highway with 3 people inside.
The Ford ran off the road and hit a tree. All 3 people in the Ford suffered undisclosed injuries in the horrible car accident and were transported by ambulances to area hospitals.
The woman driving the Toyota was ejected from her car on impact and was pronounced dead at the scene. She appears to have not been wearing a seat belt. The Coroner has not released her name pending notification of her family.
