Riverside police said that Armando Huerta was riding a 2008 Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle east on Colorado when the driver of a Nissan Altima leaving Adams Elementary School pulled out in front of him. Huerta was unable to stop in time and ran into the side of the Altima; he was taken to Riverside Community Hospital and died approximately one hour following the incident.
The Altima was driven by an unnamed 33-year-old Riverside man. Authorities are still investigating the fatal motorcycle crash.
