A two-year-old girl was injured after a tow truck hit a mother and her two children who were crossing a Placentia road, according to a news report.

Placentia police reported that a woman with a stroller and two children was crossing Placentia Avenue at Chapman Avenue when they were hit by a tow truck making a turn.  Witnesses reported that the tow truck continued to travel north on Chapman until it was stopped by another driver who witnessed the accident.

The tow truck driver told police he didn’t see the mother and children in the stroller.  The injured girl was riding in the stroller at the time of the accident, and was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
