Tyler Christian Williams was arrested Sunday, January 30 for gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI after a crash that left one person dead.
According to police, the fatal car crash occurred on the westbound lanes of the freeway near Brookhurst Street near Anaheim.
Investigators determined that a westbound 2013 Lincoln collided with a 2004 Ford, causing the Ford to overturn. Shortly after, the Lincoln slammed into a nearby 2012 Toyota.
Paramedics arrived and transported the Ford driver to a nearby hospital where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the Lincoln driver, identified as 22-year-old Tyler Christian Williams for gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI.
At this time, Orange County officials are still currently investigating the crash.
