One person has been injured after a big-rig collided with an SUV on the I-605 freeway in Lakewood, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol said that the big rig collided with an SUV that was entering the southbound lanes of I-605 from the Carson Street ramp. The crash caused the big rig to overturn, spilling approximately 3,500 gallons of fuel onto the freeway and shutting it down for several hours.
Officials said that one person was hospitalized with unknown injuries caused in the crash.
