3 injured When Car Crashes into Garden Grove Restaurant

Three people, including a 10-year-old girl, have been injured after a car crashed into a Garden Grove restaurant, according to a news report.

Garden Grove police said that a 73-year-old woman from Yorba Linda was turning west onto Garden Grove Boulevard from Yockey Street when she hit another car. The crash caused the woman to lose control of her vehicle and crash into the front of Pho 86 Restaurant in the 8800 block of Garden Grove Boulevard.

A 37-year-old Los Angeles woman and a 10-year-old girl inside the restaurant were injured and taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange. The driver was taken to Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Police said the driver was not cited; the crash remains under investigation.
