A 34-year-old Cypress man has been killed in a rollover crash on the westbound 22 freeway in Orange, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol said that Raul Sousa was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer on the westbound 22 freeway when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the center divider near Glassell Street. After crashing into the divider, the SUV rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels. Sousa was partially thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The CHP is investigating what caused Sousa to lose control of the SUV.
