Two women, 58-year-old Eileen Sayegh of Anaheim and 56-year-old Denise Leverenz of Huntington Beach, were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Westminster Thursday evening.
The deadly head-on collision occurred around 4 p.m. on Beach Boulevard and Hazard Avenue.
Sayegh was one of the drivers of the vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene. Leverenz, a passenger in a different vehicle, died later at a hospital.
Two more people were taken to hospitals in critical condition.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the accident. However, the events leading up to the fatal car accident were not immediately clear.
