A collision with an SUV left a motorcyclist dead the morning of Wednesday, June 5 in Laguna Niguel, California. Roads were closed for the ensuing collision investigation on Crown Valley and Moulton Parkway. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD), the motorcyclist died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The motorcyclist has not been identified as of the writing of this.
The motorcycle made contact with the SUV at 9:45 a.m. with the details of how the crash occurred yet to be determined. The OCSD blocked off the scene for accident reconstruction which they stated was to establish whether speed played a role in the incident.
The driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries and was not reported to be suspected to have been impaired by alcohol or drugs.
