George Dobbs and Ariahh Slemaker Among the 5 Killed in Long Beach Crash

George Dobbs and Ariahh Slemaker were among the five people killed in a crash on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach, on June 26.

Police report that the fatal crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. at the 91 Freeway connector.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) investigators are looking into what may have caused the single-vehicle car crash, but it appears a black Hyundai Sonata was driving at a high speed when it crashed and burst into flames.

Dashcam video of the crash shows the car going down the freeway and when it struck into attenuators.

Footage shows the car flip in the air before it’s engulfed in flames.

A total of six people were in the vehicle, some of whom were ejected upon impact.

Five of the people in the car were tragically killed while one person, one of the adults, was taken to a hospital with major injuries.

Two of the victims were identified as George Dobbs and Ariahh Slemaker, both 15 years old.
