Four people suffered injuries following a car crash on 2nd Street in Hermosa Beach on Tuesday, December 27.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the traffic accident happened near 2nd Street and Valley Drive just before 1 a.m.
Reports said a red Jeep crashed into a white Dodge pickup. Two people were trapped inside the Jeep, but firefighters were able to extricate them using hydraulic tools.
Medics rushed a total of four injured patients from the Jeep to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their conditions is not immediately available.
Officials continue to investigate the incident. However, police believe speed contributed as a factor.
