18-year-old Jayda Jean Feeney was tragically killed and three others injured after the car they were in slammed into concrete barricades in Westminster on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Orange County firefighters arrived at the scene of the fatal car crash, near Westminster Boulevard and Rancho Road, just before 9:40 p.m. where they found the car teetering on top of the barricades over a trench in a construction zone.
Jayda Jean Feeney was found in the front passenger seat of the teetering car.
The three others in the car were taken to area trauma centers.
According to police, details regarding the circumstances ahead of the fatal car crash were unclear. Police were investigating whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
